Raised in New Jersey, Nicholas Bredimus examined the world of airlines, software, and hospitality together and energized these trades. This resourceful man has become a standout in many fields, from the designer home design market via the essentials of safety in the air to software programs to save time. And what’s more, through it all, his emotional drive is evident.

Anyone could have predicted, however, that with his pedigree he was always likely to rise to the top. His kindred can trace its ancestry as long ago as the era of Rome and proudly boasts a varied background. His maternal family comes out of Scotland and Germany. The paternal line, in contrast, has its roots in Luxembourg and England, which is where they came to the U.S. from in the late nineteenth century. After arriving in America, the family continued to persevere and rise up the social ladder. Nicholas, who would grow up with his six siblings, was born to a father who worked as a mechanical design engineer and a mother who was employed as a practicing nurse. He would come to live in Kansas City, Texas, Arizona and Virginia.

So what, you may ask, did he do to capitalize on his upbringing and studies? He would soon embark on a string of respected roles, each one working with huge airlines. He ascended to the post of VP with firms like Republic Airlines, Trans World Airlines (TWA), and Hughes Airwest. Most prominent, even considering this, is his work as a visionary software designer for the airlines.

He is certainly most famous for a US Airways request, inventing airplane upkeep computer programs, which eventually became an “old reliable” for airplane upkeep. He designed countless other systems for the airline and hotel industry both before and after, among them completely automatic software to take and record airline bookings, employed now at more than 50 firms, and the original desktop computer based room booking software used by the hotel industry, which was initially rolled out at over 700 venues. And next came an automated, networked system for ticket ordering which was an industry first. Albeit it is definitely his strong suit, he has also often worked on areas not connected to software. He managed American Express’ computer division, set up Bredimus Systems in the early nineties, and had the honor of being the first president of a major American Airlines division. These days, though, Mr Nicholas Bredimus has departed from his airline connections and from programming, but he’s still making use of his inventiveness.
